Home & School

Home and School is an organization similar to a PTA in the public schools.  Its goal is to provide auxiliary funds to help the school meet their needs.  The organization has a slate of officers, is run in accordance with a set of by-laws, and holds monthly meetings to which parents and teachers are encouraged to attend. 

Home and School raises money in a variety of ways:  hosting a spring carnival; holding Scholastic Book Fairs three times a year;  holding a Christmas bake sale at the hospital clinic as well as a Valentine’s Day bake sale;  Santa’s Workshop; and organizing several soup suppers throughout the school year, to name a few.
